Biopesticides : A Local Revolution for a Sustainable Future in Keur Madia

Discover the inspiring initiative of farmers in Keur Madia who are making a significant shift towards healthier, more sustainable agriculture. As part of our regular on-site support, we provided them with training on biopesticides, teaching them how to create their own crop protection solutions.

Previously, these farmers used chemical pesticides as their only option, fully aware of the risks they posed to their health and the environment. Now, they’ve found a powerful alternative: simple, accessible ingredients found directly on their land, such as neem, garlic, and chili pepper. As one of the beneficiaries says, it’s proof that « we can say that we can have it all and do it all right here in the field, without even having to go anywhere else. »

This project is a true success story. These farmers have now completely stopped using synthetic products, proving that farming that respects the environment, the soil, and everyone’s health is not only possible but also a source of pride and prosperity. This is the future we are building, together!
